The house is in great location! Close to old Town Square, palladium mall, namesti Republic... Also very quiet and warm. Nice furniture and kitchen. Andre is also very nice!

The place is a little hard to find, but the host was waiting outside when I got there to help with finding it, which I really appreciated. Very conveniently located near the metro. It was nice and clean, just like the photos, and was cleaned again halfway through my stay. The wi-fi was good speed for me to get work done, but sometimes dropped in the bedroom since the router was on the other side of the apartment through some walls. One of the main reasons that I chose this place was for the kitchen, as I cooked most of my meals here. It could have benefited from a metal baking sheet, some measuring utensils/scale, and basic pantry essentials (it only had salt), but it had the basic pots, pans, cups, plates, bowls, knives, silverware, etc. I appreciated the immersion blender for making soups. Overall, a good place to stay.

I booked this one bed Alfama apartment for 3 months and was delighted with the whole experience. The apartment is in an excellent location. It was within walking distance to all the main sites of Lisbon and everything I needed for a longer-duration stay in which I was working from home. Wifi was sufficient for conducting video calls which was an important consideration for me! The apartment was spotlessly clean and super well-equipped. Abel was a really accommodating host and always very responsive to answering any queries. He also went over and above to provide information about Lisbon in general. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for short or medium term accommodation in Lisbon.

The appartement itself is great! It has everything you might need for a short or long term staying. I stayed here for 6 months. What I really liked that the location of the appartment was in a really good strategic place - not that far away from the city centre, at the same time not at the main street (less traffic noise), metro and tram stops near by. Also, a beatiful park and Vysehrad sightseeing place is near by :) What I didn't know before moving - that on the ground floor of the building there is a bar, but actually it didn't make any difficulties regarding noise, etc. To sum up, great place for a working individual or a couple :) Highly reccomended!

Daniela and her family were completely welcoming, respectful and helpful. My wife and I spent 8 months in this apartment and never had any issues. The neighborhood has many buses that go to many different areas in Porto, and there is also the Contumil metro and comboio within 10 minutes walking distance. Alameda shopping and Estadio Dragao are a 15 minute walk as well. There are many cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores in the area. The guest house itself is behind a large gate that adds extra security also. We had a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future if we return to Porto.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lucien's place for the month of January and were really comfortable there. Each room, excluding the kitchen and bathroom, had air-conditioning to heat the space nicely (or to cool it in during the summer months). There is one big table in the living room, which we worked from and ate at, because it was still a bit too cold to eat in the kitchen. An extra extension cable, some couch pillows, batteries for the lock and hair dryer was kindly supplied on request. The apartment is located really near the seafront and beach area, just a 10 minute walk from the old town and a big supermarket “Pingo Doce“.
Lisbon and surrounding towns and areas are easily accessible by public transport (bus, train) or car. The tourist office in “Casa Baia“ will have all the info you’ll ever need and also has a great little wine shop and café area.

During January there was ample, free parking space outside of the house. The choice of good restaurants in close proximity is very large, so we never went hungry. But everything we needed to cook at the apartment was also provided. There’s a washer and dryer, which was great for doing laundry on those fresh, cool days. Communication with the hosts was outstanding, they went above and beyond with every question and request we had.

PS: Something to note, which has nothing to do with the apartment nor the hosts, is that some mornings there is a funny smell in the air outside for a few hours, that comes from one of the factories. It’s quite normal, we are told by the locals, and nothing to be worried about. In fact, we smelled the same smell some days in nearby town Sesimbre as well.

Best host and flat ever. I seriously had a wonderful experience.

I even miss the flat now! It had a peculiar homely feeling that you don't usually get in most short-term renting flats.

About the flat: cosy, well-equipped, goon neighbours and quiet so I slept well despite being very noise sensitive.

I also appreciated the heating devices - it's something that you need in Portugal if you don't want to freeze to death during winter.

the place was quiet, the supermarket is really closed and the view to lisbon is amazing, if you go down to the boat station!

You're really fast in lisbon and everything around is really fast to reach. if you like to meet new people or drink an 70 cent cappuccino in the cafe house.

The neighbours are great and friedly and they lives her live easier.

Overall quite a good experience.

The location can't be beat. Very cooperative and responsive staff; they provided items missing from the kitchen when asked.


This apartment has a bit of noise at night from the bar right below the bedroom. I went to bed quite late and the noise doesn't last much beyond midnight, so for me it wasn't a big problem.

The shower is first class and all the appliances work. I could stay there again.

I was happy to stay with Lasse and the room actually looked much nicer than on the pictures. You will treasure having a big room and balconies on each side with a splendid view over Lisbon. Lasse is uncomplicated, generous and the house is clean and tidy.
