Diana has a beautifully renovated luxury residence in the heart of Lisbon’s Chiado area near Bairro Alto and a short walk to principe real. . There weren’t any problems with the unit that I couldn’t handle on my own. Was easier for me to eat out than to cook and there are a ton of inexpensive restaurants in area and pricier ones too. You can find a range of places in the neighborhood which is near restaurant row - rua nuova Trinidade. Building has elevator which is major plus. Building is located on a street that has a staircase but it’s nearly at the bottom of a level. Just two short levels up to main drag at top of hill.

Overall, we would have had more satisfaction with the unit. However, the washer malfunctioned and did extensive damage to our clothing and parts of the kitchen cabinets. This left us without an ability to wash clothing for our final 2 weeks.
The unit is in a fabulous location close to the old town square and the tunnel is just 3 blocks away.

The neighborhood is just far enough away that the activities cannot be heard.

Overall a great place to stay. The apartment itself is nice with a great view for sunset, however the building is an old hotel which gives off a different vibe than we were expecting. Location is good and safe, but a little far from town so personal transportation is extremely useful. Diana is lovely and very accommodating, was always easy to reach if we needed anything!

Diana is a wonderful host, there were no problems with communication and the apartment. Flat is exactly the same as on photos, very pleasant and comfortable.

The apartment is located on beautiful green street. There are no limits with the availability of of food choices/ restaurants. Santos train station is about 5 minutes away. The owner was available to answer any questions or concerns. The apartment was as advertised, lovely

The area is home to top restaurants or within walking distance. Time out market is about 8 minutes away. Great breakfast restaurants. Tram 28 runs along the top of the street. The Tagus River is a few blocks away. Chiado mall is close enough to walk (less than 15 minutes). The area has a vibe to accommodate young and old.

Really liked staying in this flat. It's cute has a pretty view from the living room and has everything needed. Well located 5m walk from the metro station Santa-Apolonia which makes travel quite easy. Obrigado Diana!

Saldanha is quite spacious, residential, relatively upmarket, not touristy. The residents tend to be middle-class Portuguese white-collar workers, so it's quiet and very pleasant, and there are many honestly excellent restaurants here - not the usual tourist dross in Principe Real etc. Would loosely compare this area to Fulham / Chelsea / Highgate in London.

As someone who stayed in this house for 1 month, I can only recommend it. The house was very clean, the furniture was new, and the location is great. Diana and Jorge take care of their guests and they are ready to help you whenever you have a problem. Thanks again for everything!

Close to some amazing surf beaches. Quiet area with no noise. Walk into town 20 -25 minutes.

This place is a wonderful home away from home. The light is incredible, the views and the sunsets. It is most certainly one of the best stays I have had in a long while.
Close to the famous surfing beaches - you can walk with your board 15 mins to the nearest spot for a session. I had a car during my stay which I was able to keep in the underground garage. 5 minute drive to Ericiera and all the big supermarkets. If you want to walk, there is a small supermarket 10 mins from the house and it takes about 20-30 minutes to walk into town.
Diana who looks after the property is absolutely lovely and makes herself available to help you out with whatever you need. She was also really flexible with me and I ended up staying an extra 2 weeks!
If you need to work, the wifi is super speedy - I was on video calls every day for most of the day with no hiccups. You can also head to the Surf 28 cafe and work from there as well.
A complete set up for the nomadic traveller. The only thing missing was a washing machine but again, Diana can help you out with that or you can just handwash.
Highly recommend this slice of heaven.

We had a great time in the Blue Apartment. All shops, restaurants and the perfect beach are just a few minutes walking. Our daily breakfast on the balcony, with freshly baked croissants, freshly pressed orange juice and coffee from the little cappuccino machine was heavenly. A few times there were some over-enthusiastic neighbours later in the evening, but the blinds helped to shut out the incidental noise. The apartment is in great condition, the bed is excellent and the amenities provide everything we could wish for and more. We came to Albufeira to make a start with our online companies and to work on some other projects, and we made great progress. Thanks Diana and colleagues for taking good care of us.
