I would feel better if there were an upfront cleaning fee like on airbnb. Was surprised that Flatio asked that I make sure to "deep clean" the apartment. Sadly, I was not in physical shape to do that and have given the landlords some cash to hire a cleaner to do a thorough job. But I have no complaints about Flatio.

I had a successful Flatio stay in Prague in 2019. Flatio's Covid cancellation policy (all cancellation policies) seem more reasonable than airbnb's.

I would recommend your service, but not for Lisbon. The whole process is very streamlined and with very limited paperwork. I found it good. The problem with your platform is that your listings aren't as competitive as on uniplaces or on facebook expat groups.

I like that there are reviews, and it seems clear and up-front. Many of the other sites I looked didn't have much information from (or about) the landlord. Flatio seems to have the personal touch like A-B-n-B with descriptions and profiles and reviews, but is more suited and more affordable for longer stays.

Flatio has excellent reviews for many customers which was reassuring. However, the one thing I like most was the ease by which I found several flats in the exact area I was searching on the first search and pictures/descriptions of the flats were very crisp and detailed. I became interested in doing a Google search for flat rentals when I became frustrated with a different search entity, to remain nameless, that made me wait hours/days before a response and was not precise on their descriptions and pictures. They also directed me all over a region that I had to minimize in order to select the few flats available.

We are here and we are staying in Prague longer than originally planned. We understand there will be some construction, and we hope that we can work around that. So far the flat has been very nice and comfortable, and easy access to tram.
