The reviews I have read on the flatio about this apartment were very flattering, which was the reason why I made the booking. However, the apartment appeared to be below my expectations.
Apparently, there was an installation of a water heater the day before, and the floors were covered in some kind of construction dust. The host seemed to have tried to clean the mess, but it made the sink in the kitchen just dirtier. When I reported this case to Flatio, the host contacted me and sent his house keeper for an additional cleaning. I wish it had been done before I arrive.
The dishwasher did not seem to work due to lack of salt or any other reasons, and the only solution I got was being sent the user guide.
The bathroom smelled terrible of mold and canalization, even though I could not spot it, but I needed to keep the windows open all the time to make the smell bearable.
When booking this apartment, please bear in mind that it is situated just in five minutes ride from the airport. It can be convenient, but the sound pollution is devastating. The airplanes are getting to land literally just above your head, and fly constantly from 5 am to 1 am. Totally do not recommend it if you are not a huge fan of airplanes or a photographer.
As for positive aspects, the host was flexible on the arrival time and the neighborhood was safe.

The neighborhood is safe and clean. There are 3 metro stations in 10 minutes walking distance, a bus station next door and a beautiful park to have a walk at. However, please be aware of sound pollution.

Hey, everybody. Our family stayed at Paulo's condo for 2 weeks. We arrived in Lisbon on Christmas Eve. The apartment was prepared for our stay. Paulo left the keys in the locker box near the airport and sent us detailed instructions on how to operate all the appliances in the apartment. In the kitchen you will find a coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and much more. The apartment has air conditioners (2) and an oil heater. Cozy living room with table, large TV and sofa. The apartment is located in proximity to bus stops. 10 minutes to the subway. To continent and lidl about 15-20 minutes, next to the subway there is a big grocery Pingo doche. Near the Jose Alvalada stadium where Sporting plays. We rented a car. It can be parked across the street. On the map you will find a large parking lot (weekends are free). All in all we had a good stay. But the lock on the front door broke. Paulo came and replaced the lock quickly, even though it was Christmas. Thank you very much, it was very cool. Our family was very satisfied.

Paulo is a very hospitable host. He introduced us to the best places in the area and gave us tips about Lisbon. The flat is equipped with everything we needed. We are a family with a child and the flat was perfect to stay in.

The neighborhood has calm vibe, but be ready to hear airplanes above your head, becase an airport closed to that.

Beautiful apartment, new stylish furniture, high ceilings, large windows, new air conditioning and TV, coffee machine. There are all conditions to live. The owner of the apartment, Paolo, is very hospitable and caring!

Our stay at the flat was fantastic, Paulo is a great host who helped us a lot during our stay. The flat itself has all necessary amenities. Definitely recommend.

Чистая и уютная квартира в пешей доступности от двух веток и трех станций метро, все необходимое для комфортной жизни. Все очень удобно и для работы и для отдыха. А если вы любите фотографировать и самолеты (как моя дочь), то балкон послужит еще и отличной спотерской площадкой) Спасибо Пауло, за гостепримство и поддержку!

Отличная локация рядом с университетским кампусом и парком. Есть где погулять. Метро и атовбусы в любую точку Лиссабона. Много небольших кафе и ресторанов рядом. Сетевые магазины тоже недалеко.
