My name is Vânia. I’m married to Eduardo, and we have two daughters. I’m an economist, and my husband is a programmer. We have 10 years of experience with short-term rentals.
This house was renovated and decorated by us, and it’s where we lived for a few years until the birth of our first daughter. It’s a very special home for us, not only because of that but also due to its close proximity to the beach and the sea.
We speak both Portuguese and English with our daughters and really enjoy welcoming guests. We look forward to meeting new people!

New and cozy apartment at Praia da Barra

We spent almost three months there—what can I say? The apartment is lovely and very modern. There were three of us staying there, and we still found it very spacious. There are also two mercados nearby, which makes it really easy to buy fresh food every day.
We already miss the beach and the sound of the waves in the morning (because yes, you can access it with just a 3-minute walk!). You might think that all of this is already enough to enjoy a stay as much as we did, but on top of that, there’s Vania and her husband. They are lovely people—kind, always checking if you need anything, and always available.
Thanks to them, it was a great experience. We hope to be able to come back in the future. Thanks again, Vania 🙏🏻

We come from big cities, and you can feel the difference from your very first step there—that’s impressive. We were walking around day and night, sometimes alone, and you’re almost shocked to experience such a nice, calm, and refreshing village. The people are kind and very helpful.

If you want, there’s Aveiro Forum, a really nice place to visit (very accessible by public transport or by car). There’s also the Glicínias Plaza, where we used to go to watch movies. And walking along the beach, following the wooden path, is so relaxing for the soul.
