Disgusting apartment from day one: mold on the walls, filthy toilet and shower, dirty kitchen, unusable oven. Nothing was as advertised, everything was filthy. The host doesn’t respond, refuses any refund, and denies the obvious. And worst of all, don’t count on Flatio: the platform protects the host instead of helping the tenant. Avoid at all costs.

The host responded to all our reports of problems or inquiries very fast. However some problem could not be fixed while renters were at the property, especially plumbing problems in and around the bathroom. There was a strong odor coming from the drain pipes.

Santo Estevão is a picturesque almost quaint little town. Very friendly and helpful neighbors especially in the junta de freguesia across the street. Post office, mercado, grocery shops, and restaurants were all in walking distance to the house.

For any help or inquiries, foto copies, or other problems you can go to the junta de freguesia where two very friendly and English speaking women work. Post office for any deliveries very helpful. Grocery shop (Chinese) has about everything from veggies to tools or stationary.

Ana is very communicative, responsible and friendly. The house has everything you need for the stay. The town is small, quiet and easy to travel with car to Lisbon Airport. Thank you for hosting!

Good place for it's money, a bit far from Lisbon, so car is almost a must. Nice kitchen, nice lemon tree. The owner helped and responded well and quickly throughout the whole rent.

Great place to stay, in quiet village, but with restaurants and shops there. House has lots of equipment in the kitchen, washer and drying machine. Cosy private yard. The only thing, you need a car to move around.

Ana is so helpful and nice, her house is fantastic, spacious the bedroom remains so cool even when the weather is very hot. Ana has provided all new equipment, dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc. Excellent accommodation, thank you Ana.

It is a lovely quiet friendly town. Mario the taxi driver is based across the street from the front door he is really helpful and friendly.

Ana foi e nos ajudou muito. A casa não temos o que falar, uma casa completa e sensacional. Muito tranquila.
Agradeço muito a Ana Alegro e a Flatio, por nos proporcionar esses dias cá em Portugal.

Temos contato com vizinhos muito simpáticos e que nos ajudaram e muito. Em Santo Estevão, infelizmente não é tão perto dos transportes publicos, mas fica perto de Benavente, onde podemos ir e onde tem muitas opções.

Good neighborhood. Quiet place, feels very safe. Everything is in 5 minute walk: supermarket, ATM, pharmacy. The house is comfortable. There's everything you need. The owner is a great woman! If you have any problem she will help you with that.

The house has beautiful design, private backyard and needed utensils. Though so far it's a village, it's recommended to have a car to move around.
Ana is amazing host, helps with any questions. She and Rui has own winery with delicious wine.

Rice fields are nice! There are some seasonal holidays with some local traditional holidays and entertainment. Live bulls shows where local participate is something indeed standout from many other regions in Portugal
