Noemi is an excellent host. She was always available to answer any questions we had and her check in instructions were clear and accurate. She has really gone the extra mile to make sure that guests are comfortable in the apartment and have a great time in Budapest.
Szomszédság
If you are a family travelling to Budapest then this is the neighbourhood you want to stay in. It's quiet enough to not be a tourist trap but vibey enough so that you don't have to go far for some fun. For the kids, there are numerous amazing play parks scattered throughout the area as well as an abundance of ice cream. For the adults, this neighbourhood has a great mix of activity, such as restaurants, bars, bakeries, and shops to keep you entertained. Its close enough to the Danube so that walks along its banks gazing at Margret Bridge and Buda Castle is no effort at all. Its also close to Jazai Mari Ter, a major transport interchange as well, so getting around the city is effortless on foot.

Margiet Sziget, a completely pedestrian island in the middle of the Danube is the perfect place for a relaxing picnic or some family fun. It's massive so you could easily spend the entire day walking through its gardens and tranquil tree lined paths.
For food, a small place frequented by locals call Pozonyi Kisvendeglo, on the corner of Pozonyi and Radnoti Miklos utca. They had the best Hungarian food with the most generous portion sizes.
For drinks, we found that buying wine or beer in a restaurant or bar could be quite expensive. We would just buy a bottle of the local Israi Oliver or a cherry beer at the Tesco or ABC store and sit on a bench overlooking the Parliament or Buda Castle.
For pastries, Jo Kenyer in Ipoly utca has the best turos batyu. A sweet cottage cheese pastry loved by locals. It's something that may take a few tries to get used to but is definitely a must try.
For buying groceries or food, there are a few supermakets located in the area but I would recommend taking a walk to the Lehel market located at the Lehel Ter interchange. There you will find the best quality fresh produce, szalami, kolbas, as well as cooked food at an extremely affordable price.
And not forgetting the beautiful Szent Isztvan Park. A magnificently manicured green space filled with fountains and flower beds. Perfect for spending an afternoon lazing about while kids enjoy its park.
Speaking of parks... If you're looking to take the kids on an adventure, then the park at City Park is the place to go. A truly breathtaking play area with many, many things for kids of all ages to do. It's located just behind Heroes square and a short walk through the green areas or along the No75 trolley bus line.
Lastly, although not a place, taking a No2 tram from Jazai Mari Ter along the Danube is like a free tour of the most beautiful parts of the city. The tram line runs parralel to the danube on the Pest side offering unmatched views of Buda Castle, and Gellert Hill.

I highly recommend this flat. The location is perfect, the flat is well-maintained and equipped. The landlord was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my staying which lasted more than a month. Long term rental can be considered due to great location and price
