Staying for three months at Belix Apartments in Durres, Albania, was a brilliant experience. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The apartments are of an extremely high standard, as is the building, the security, the lift, and the cleanliness. Moreover, the owner and team of staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful, going out of their way to help in every way.
Belix Apartments is situated just minutes from the beautiful beach lined with palm trees and great restaurants and bars. And it is just around the corner from wonderful shop of all kinds that are open until 8pm every night. This includes first-class inexpensive grocery stores, so this makes it super easy to carry shopping back to the apartment. Highly recommended!

The neighborhood is very safe, and the shopkeepers and restaurant owners are nice and friendly. And the prices are lower than in the EU.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it's a good spot to work as a digital nomad. We like the location, it's close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a bus stop close by that you can use to get into town. The bed is comfy and getting your weekly cleaning is a nice touch. The staff are really friendly and make you feel at home.

Stayed 60 days, would recommend. Good lodgings. Excellent staff, always willing to help when needed, while giving you your own space. Close to beach, restaurants, barbers.

I am grateful for how helpful Klea and her team were during our stay, they went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. We had a pleasant stay in Plepa, a short walk from the beach and right next to the bus terminal to the centre of Durrës for 40 Lek each way. It’s a convenient jumping off point to other parts of Albania, as the southern bus terminal is across the road to visit other cities like Tirana and Berat. On the last day we got a taxi to the airport from the bus terminal. It was very straightforward. Faleminderit!

It’s about half an hour bus ride from central Durrës and 20 minute walk to the beach. Not a noisy or busy place when we visited between May and June. The apartment was clean but on the stairwells of the building and outside it was a bit untidy due to some prior construction work and shared use of the area by residents and tourists. Yet, we felt safe and comfortable.

Klea was very friendly and ready to help if needed. The apartment was also nice. At the current state, i think it is more suited for tourists on holiday, than for digital nomads, because the apartment lacked of a proper working desk. Klea however reassured me, that they will fix this in the future.

All the Albanian people I met in Durres were super kind and welcoming.
The quality of the roads are very bad and there is litter on the streets everywhere, a little bit more than the average in the Balkans.
There are gangs of stray dogs on the street. Many of them are marked, and they were chill, but still it might give someone the feeling of insecurity.
In the shops near you can find what you want.

Klea is very sweet and helpful. Always available n case of problem or to give advices. The flat was really nice, great WiFi connection for those looking to work, closed by bus station, supermarkets and the sea.
