In many years of renting short term in various cities in Europe, Martin's my favorite landlord. There were a couple of problems with lack of heat and then lack of electricity in the first part of my stay, but Martin gave me fair compensation. I much appreciated it. And he is an affable and witty guy. :)

Beautiful architecture, far away from tourist madness. Utterly pleasant. Ideally there would be a small potraviny closer than the Borislavka mall or a tram ride because Evropska St. is both dangerous and hard to cross. Each year there's more traffic.

Alas, the wonderful Cafe Jirasek has closed forever. There's good coffee at The Miners Cafe inside the Borislavka mall. And a tiny branch of the French patisserie Paul is at Vitemske Namesti six tram stops away. I'm glad it's not any closer!:)

Martin and Klara are lovely people. They came back from a weekend away to find me crumpled and bleeding on the concrete. Jetlagged, I had tripped on a step and hit my head and both knees. Klara is a doctor and bandaged scrapes everywhere, then checked up on me later. I was deeply appreciative.:)

Beautiful architecture. Greenery. Quiet. Still there's proximity to the Borislavka metro and the mall surrounding it. Many useful shops including Lidl and DM, a cheese store, cafes and a butcher shop that sells delicious fresh roast chickens.

Cafe Jirasek (maybe two blocks away on Evropka) is charming and has delicious food and desserts. The Chinese place "Nove Stoleti" across from the Na Piskach tram stop is inexpensive and tasty.

Good public transport and there is a shopping mall nearby where all kind of goods can be purchased.

Martin and his wife are really nice and polite people. In case of any requests they reacted immediately. Very pleasant experience of staying in their flat.

There are some office centers, subway station, shopping mall with small restaurants and beauty salons.

We didn't spend much time in the neighborhood. But the subway station is around 5-7 minutes walk and it takes around 20 minutes in total to get to the city centre. We mostly spent time there while not working.

Martin and Klara were wonderful hosts and delightful people. I could not recommend them and their lovely little apartment more highly.

Architecturally so beautiful! I spent a lot of time walking around and riding buses just to see the buildings. It feels safe. Vilimovska is a side street off busy Evropska but there's plenty of neighborhood foot traffic at night.

Cafe Jirasek is historically interesting and lovely. The food and desserts are excellent. A couple of the servers are crabby and seem unhappy to do their jobs. I thought perhaps my foreignness annoyed them but one server may have been more unpleasant to my Czech friends who are polite and lovely people. So, enjoy the food and beware.:) Nove Stoleti on Evropska near Na Piskach tram stop is a good place for inexpensive Chinese food. If one rides to Hradcanska, just across the tracks from the trams is a branch of Creme de la Creme which has delicious gelato.

Lovely apartment with a great view overlooking the landscaped garden. Short walk to tram, metro, bus and shopping center at Borislavka. Martin and Klara were very hospitable and helpful whenever we needed assistance. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Martin, his wife and son were excellent for the duration of our stay of 4 and a half months. They helped resolve any problems we had immediately, they were always smiling and friendly and around if they were needed, they made us feel very at home. The apartment is beautiful, the kitchen is fully kitted with everything you can think of, the sauna is lovely, the garden is beautiful, the beds were very comfortable during our stay. The neighbourhood of Dejvice is gorgeous, one of the high end parts of Prague. Great stay highly recommended!
