An intimate and independent wooden tree house nestled among the trees in the hills of Montemagno di Camaiore, between the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan coast. Designed for one or two guests, it offers privacy, silence and the feeling of living in close contact with the surrounding nature.
The accommodation has one double bed, a private bathroom with shower and electric heating. An electric coffee maker, an electric kettle, tea, coffee and sugar are provided inside the house.
The Tree House is ideal for one person, a couple, or a parent and child who are comfortable sharing a double bed.
For families, friends or groups travelling together, additional independent accommodations are available on the same property and can be booked separately, subject to availability. Please visit our host profile to discover the other units.
There is no kitchen inside the Tree House, but guests have full access to a shared, fully equipped kitchen located nearby and shared with the hosts. It includes everything needed for everyday cooking and dining.
Several outdoor tables and seating areas are available throughout the property, offering different places to work, eat or relax in the garden. Wi-Fi connection is available both inside the accommodation and throughout the outdoor areas of the property.
The Tree House is part of a creative property with a working sculpture studio, a garden, peaceful outdoor spaces and a seasonal swimming pool. It is suitable for remote workers, artists, writers and anyone looking for a quiet and inspiring place in which to work, rest and experience a slower rhythm of life.
The sea, Pietrasanta, Carrara, Viareggio and Lucca are within reach, while forest paths, hill walks, streams and waterfalls can be found nearby. A car is strongly recommended for moving around independently.
The Tree House is accessed by wooden stairs and is surrounded by natural, uneven ground. It may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or difficulty climbing stairs. Parents travelling with children should carefully consider the access and supervise them at all times.
Four domestic cats live on the property, together with several semi-feral cats in the surrounding outdoor areas, which should be considered by guests with cat allergies.

Art, nature, music, books, plants and the need for space and silence have all become part of it. My sculpture studio is here on the property, where I work mainly with marble and ceramics. Sculpture has been at the centre of my life for many years, but music is also an important part of it. I play piano, hang, guitar and trumpet, and you will find different musical instruments around the property. Ilaria teaches philosophy and mindfulness and is also a writer. She loves the plants and herbs that grow naturally around us, collecting wild and medicinal herbs and using them in cooking and in everyday life. One of the reasons she loves living here is the silence. It gives her the space to write, read and think. The woods, the changing seasons and the landscape are part of her everyday life and often part of her inspiration. In different ways, we both need creativity, nature and solitude, which is probably why we understand very well that people can come here looking for very different things. We enjoy meeting people from other countries, cultures and backgrounds, and over the years we have naturally welcomed artists, students, travellers and friends. We like conversations, exchanging ideas and sharing something of our world when it happens spontaneously. But we also deeply respect the pleasure of being left alone. As hosts, we try to be available without being intrusive. We live on the property, so if you need practical help, advice about the area or simply feel like having a coffee and talking, we are nearby. At the same time, your accommodation is your own space and your privacy and independence are fully respected. If you are curious, you may discover the sculpture studio, try working with stone when possible, play one of the instruments, learn something about the plants growing around the property, cook with seasonal herbs, or simply share a meal or a conversation with us. None of this is expected. You can just as easily spend your time completely independently: working, writing, reading, walking, exploring Tuscany, going to the sea or the mountains, or simply enjoying the silence. Some people enjoy connecting. Others come precisely because they want space, nature and time to themselves. Both are equally welcome.
