You’ll love the Aveiro Arts Lounge — an exclusive, charming and stylish loft with a great tradition in Arts and Design, perfect for cosmopolitan couples or solo travellers with an eye for detail. Located in the very heart of Aveiro, the Arts Lounge combines modern amenities and vintage charm, featuring carefully selected artworks, period furniture and decor, while offering unique conveniences like a home theatre, a bluetooth hi-fi system, an elliptical workout bike or a vinyl record player.


Standing on the top floor of the modernist building know as VIC // Aveiro Arts House, the whole apartment is for exclusive use of the guests that book it, and includes:
. a sunny and charming bedroom with a home theatre, Bluetooth audio system and an included bathroom;
. an elegant and spacious loft with a bohemian feel, featuring specially designed areas for, leisure, office work (wifi, flat screen, apple keyboard and apple mouse included), dinning and work-out areas;
. a practical and lovely kitchenette featuring author wall tiles, and fully-equipped with stove, oven, juicer, blender, toaster, microwaves and a Nespresso coffee-maker.
. a small but comfortable terrace from where guests may witness Aveiro's most surprising and colourful sunsets.


The fact that the building faces a small park that adorns the back of Aveiro’s most renowned museum, makes this a quite peaceful street with a very chilled pace. Nevertheless, all the main attractions in town are at a short walk distance (4 minutes to the famous canals in the epicentre of town, 10 minutes to the University, 20 minutes to the breathtaking salt mines), and Aveiro’s stunning beaches are just a 15 minutes drive away.


Besides the exclusive usage of the booked loft you may visit the other floors of the Aveiro Arts House on demand, and we suspect that it will be worth your while! Former home of the beloved and multifaceted artist Vasco Branco, the Aveiro Arts House is an historic building with a notable tradition regarding Arts and Culture.

Today the building is home to projects such as an NGO focused on participatory arts and cultural heritage, a small gallery-shop, an arts residency and an independent record label. In the basement you’ll find a small private cinema auditorium built in the sixties and equipped with 42 seats, mini-bar and projection booth. If you happen to coincide, you are very welcome to attend the exclusive events that we occasionally host at this auditorium, such as movie projections, small concerts, book launches or wine tastings.
