Cozy romantic apartment near city centre

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this apartment. There was mold on the walls, dirty dishes, a broken coffee machine, dirty windows with bird droppings on the sills, and months-old dust and cobwebs behind the bed. The wi-fi didn’t work, and both the shower and sink drains were clogged.

Although I asked the landlady to arrange cleaning and repairs, she said the cleaner was unavailable, and despite claiming she contacted other services, nothing changed for three days. She admitted the apartment was neglected and needed cleaning, but still didn’t arrange it.

She also accused me of pressuring her to move in earlier, even though she had asked for an extra day to prepare the flat — which I agreed to — yet the apartment was still in terrible condition. Her only solution was that I leave early, which she considered fair. I did not, as the apartment was too dirty to work, sleep, or live in.

I had to leave and find another place. Very unpleasant experience — I do not recommend this apartment.

Byt byl nájemnici předán osobně při nastěhování a v daný moment nebyly vzneseny žádné výhrady. Připomínky začaly přicházet až s odstupem času. Na každou z nich jsem reagovala bezodkladně. Kontaktovala jsem techniky na internet, objednala nový kávovar, řešila možnost úklidu a opakovaně komunikovala s poskytovateli služeb. O všech krocích byla nájemnice průběžně informována.
Vzhledem k tomu, že některé požadavky nebylo možné vyřešit okamžitě (zejména z důvodu dostupnosti externích služeb), nabídla jsem férové řešení formou předčasného ukončení pobytu. Toto řešení bylo nakonec realizováno dohodou přes platformu Flatio a s částečným vrácením nájemného, se kterým nájemnice souhlasila.
Je mi líto, že pobyt nesplnil očekávání nájemnice, nicméně z mé dlouhodobé zkušenosti i historie hodnocení na Flatio (dlouhodobě 5/5) je zřejmé, že se jednalo o mimořádnou a nestandardní situaci, kdy očekávání a standardy nebyly na obou stranách v souladu.
Byt byl po odjezdu převzat zpět bez jakýchkoliv dalších připomínek a spolupráce byla oficiálně uzavřena dle pravidel platformy.
Zároveň bych ráda doplnila, že veškeré nahlášené záležitosti byly po odjezdu nájemnice vyřešeny. Byt je nyní po generálním úklidu, s plně funkčním internetem, odpady i novým vybavením a je připraven v plném standardu pro další hosty.

I had a great experience staying at this Flatio. Ivana was welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. The apartment was exactly as described. Highly recommended!

Ivana was lovely and super communicative.
The flat was perfect, was shockingly cool temperature despite how hot the summer weather was so totally perfect!

The flat is well equipped with everything you might need, and is located in a lovely part of Prague very safe with lots of cafes and restaurants around as well as grocery stores. I would happily stay again and recommend to others :)

Lovely apartment and historic building on a quiet street — and across the street, Karlin Yoga.

Lots of good spots for coffee, or dinner. Veltlin and Eska are special. Etapa and Muj Salek Kavy also. If you like yoga, don’t miss Karlín Yoga.

Cozy and clean flat in an excellent location; no communication issues with the owner.

Ivana is a great landlady. Very responsive and so flexible.

Karlin is a lovely neighborhood. Green and quiet but with excellent links into Old Town and the other pets of the city. Lots of cafes and shops nearby within easy walking distance or only a couple stops on the tram.

Very pleasant stay. House was clean, no problem with anything. The owner was responding very quickly.

U Ivany v Karlínském bytě jsem bydlela přes půl roku a byla jsem maximálně spokojená. Ivana byla vždy na příjmu, když jsem něco potřebovala a byla vždy moc milá. Když bylo potřeba něco spravit, vždy vše zařídila co nejrychleji to šlo. Byt je pěkný a útulný, kolem je spousta restaurací, obchodů a pěšky je to na tramvaj asi 4 minuty.

Skvělé bydlení v pěkné a atraktivní části Karlína. V okolí množství restaurací, hospod a kaváren, ale přesto velmi klidné místo (výhled do vnitrobloku). Malý útulný byt se vším co potřebujete a pouze 5 min. na metro.
